My kids wanted spaghetti for breakfast, a fort to watch movies in and a pyjama day. My house is clean. Floors and bathrooms, even the storage space under the stairs. The Rubbermaid bins have been labelled and the junk drawer cleaned. I put all of the Canadian Tire money in order and clipped it together (almost $13). Every piece of laundry is folded and put away including the bedding. I went on the treadmill. I had two lattes and made oatmeal muffins. I had a bubble bath with peppermint from my garden. A BUBBLE BATH. Who has a bubble bath in the middle of the day with two kids? What. The. Hell. I’m totally forgetting about something. But until I remember what exactly that is, I might as well pull out my camera and take a photo of something.
My peonies have finally started to bloom. I have three bushes in three different colours and they all bloom after one another. Light pink, dark pink, white. Anyone who has peonies knows they don’t last long and almost every year we’re on vacation and I miss the light pink ones, which are my favourite.
This is what happens when my kids are fed, watered and behaving. And when my house is clean and organized. Still life photos.
Update: Ya, never mind.
